With the increasingly high demand for precision in productions, particularly the automotive industry, manufacturers are hard-pressed to find an cost-effective and quick solution to control production quality at the highest level of precision. Quality Inspection process
Step 1: 3D Scanning
With the use of precise 3D Scanners, such as EviXscan3D Heavy Duty Optima fixed scanner for small-to-medium sized objects, or the Thunk3D S handheld scanner for medium-large objects, we can acquire the 3D dimensional metrology of the produced parts provided by our customers. The 3D-scanned data is called a point-cloud, which is then used to created mesh models in STL, OBJ and ASC format.
Step 2: Quality Inspection
3D Scanned data file of the produced parts will be imported to Quality Inspection softwares, like Geomagic Control X to be compared with the original design file, to check if the produced parts have any defects or errors.
Step 3: Exporting Reports.
Geomagic Control X exports an automatic inspection report with all information in details regarding the inspected parts, which 3DShop Vietnam will send back to our customers.
