3D Scanning and Reverse Engineering process
- 3D Scan real objects with a 3D Scanner (e.g.: EviXscan3D Heavy Duty Optima)
- Convert 3D scanned data (point-cloud) into Mesh models
- Construct 3D CAD models from scanned data
- Redesign or improve 3D CAD designs according to customers’ requests
- Send 3D CAD design back to customer
Quality Inspection process
- Export the 3D-scanned raw data (point cloud) in Geomagic Control X
- Compare 3D scanned data with the original CAD design file
- Automatic Quality Inspection report is produced and sent back to customer
3D Printing process
- 3D CAD files from Geomagic Design X can be imported to 3D Printing softwares, such as Simplify3D to be “sliced” layer by layer
- GCODE file is exported from Simplify3D for 3D Printing
- GCODE file is sent to 3D Printers to be manufactured
- 3D printed product is completed and sent to customer
